Ahh… the Muses. Muses have a large aspect in my life now, though they didn’t always. Regardless, they have been following me since High school and the Improv I was doing then, even though I didn’t know their existence. They are here for me when I attempt be witty, they always help me create artwork for school and personal life, give inspiration on multiple levels, and lastly they help me in a very direct way to create my comic strip, Oh My Gods!. A muse was, after all, the reason why the whole bloody thing got started! Thankfully, they have constantly been there for me, and I love them dearly. I work with them, and care for them with all my heart.

They symbol itself is one that symbolizes the Muses for me, a glyph of sorts in the representation of a harp. Muses were notorious for all realms of inspiration or creativity, but especially in regards to music. Hence, I choose this particular symbol to represent them.

Muses are beings that I feel are easily personified with a combination Fire and Air energies. For while they are not being that are strictly “Fire” or “Air” they certainly invoke the energies of the mind and dance like Air, and the energies of creativity and passion of Fire.
